All staff receive a comprehensive induction training programme which includes classroom and online training followed by work based training under the direct guidance of a senior care worker or manager, these trainings exceeds mandatory training requirements and the existence of our in-house training team allows us to excel with staff training needs.We are a re-ablement service providing domiciliary, respite and live-in services which we provide to adults aged 18 years up to 65 years of age, and older adults over 65 years of age.

Domiciliary Care Services

JAM Domiciliary Care Service supplies a well-resourced and dedicated care staff on a floating and outreach basis to young adults and adults in the community living at home or in their own home, adults aged up to 65 years and over. The scope of our services excludes work undertaken by skilled and expert or clinical professionals such as:

  • Ear syringing
  • Toenail cutting
  • Bladder washouts
  • Bowel evacuations
  • Any invasive procedures
  • Any nursing care services
  • Filling of oxygen cylinders
  • Lifting from the floor unaided
  • Skin prick tests for diabetics
  • Assistance with eye or ear drops
  • Tracheotomy care – changing tubes
  • Removing or replacing urinary catheter
  • Lleostomy and colostomy care – changing of bags
  • Catheter care – changing bags, monitoring output
  • Assisting with artificial feeding (except medication)
  • Lifting from the floor unaided or baring the weight of a service user
  • Injections – involving assembling syringes, administering intravenously, controlled drugs

We will commence the above nursing care tasks when we have recruited and trained staff available to provide these cares.
