Cancellation Policy

JAM CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend or complete your chosen course satisfactorily, as far as possible you will
be offered an alternative date, or an extended deadline. If this proves impossible, the following fees
may need to be applied to protect our partner organisations from any financial loss incurred.
Cancellation fees
Any cancellations must be communicated with us by email within the timescales below:
• 16-12 weeks before the course: 25% of the program fee
• 7 days to 14 days before course start date – 50% of the program fee
• 1 -7 days before the course start date – 75% of the program fee
• No notification or non-attendance at course – 100% of the program fee
An administration fee of £250 will also be charged for administrative purposes
Refund
Upon determining that a cancellation or refund is due to you under these Terms, we will issue such
refund or cancellation within 14 days of our confirmation that such refund or cancellation is due to
you
Non-completion penalty
A charge of up to £250 may be made for course participants failing to complete course assignments,
within the time frame agreed with the course deliverer. If you are struggling to complete the course
by the deadline, please do contact your course deliverer, who should be able to extend the deadline.
Fees outstanding
If any fee payments remain outstanding without agreement with JAM Student Finance
(accounts@jamis.co.uk), the following procedure will be set in motion:
An invoice will be issued from the JAM International Studies Academy Finance Office, payable
immediately.
If the invoice is not paid within 14 days and agreement has not been reached with JAM Student
Finance (accounts@jamis.co.uk), the student will be withdrawn from the course.
In any case if a student has outstanding debt to JAM International Studies Academy:
They will not be able to continue study on a course or enrol on another JAM course.
No award will be issued following the successful completion of a course if the outstanding fees for
that course have not been paid in ful
